He recorded other hits like “Just Ask Your Heart”, and “I’ll Wait for You.” Most of his hits were written and/or produced by Bob Marcucci.

Avalon’s screen debut was a short appearance in Jamboree. He featured in The Alamo Alakazam the Great, Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, and Sail a Crooked Ship. He created Frankie Avalon Products, a line of health and cosmetic aids.
